sunday-post2The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~

~ It’s a chance to share news~

A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

This week was crazy! I was feeling massively overwhelmed for a while there.

I have some issues about being a counselor for my family. I want to sit and listen and give advice (hopefully as impartially as possible). The problem this week was that I wound up talking to people for hours upon hours UPON HOURS all about the same situation.

Funnily she says to me that the person she is talking about (I’m leaving pronouns to not point any fingers here) should speak up and be honest and just tell it like it is. And I was thinking to myself, gee “I” probably should do that too because I am really getting tired! One night I was up until 3 am which normally doesn’t bother me too much but it’s getting into my home life (my hubby is getting ticked), my blog life (very little read this week), and church life!

Ok… so to be honest, I do this too but this is how I felt the entire conversationS went. It’s almost LOL funny if I were not crying inside. Really, I have got to get a backbone!

So, after all of THAT, I did get some reading in and I’m doing very well in this class. 96% and still hanging strong! Now, if I could just get some reading done this week please for the love of all that is holy!!

My daughter did start playing WoW with me again though! That is so exciting. I live so far away and it’s lovely to be able to spend some downtime with her, even if it is over the internet. Makes up for the rest of the crap this week YAY!!!

And I am going to finally start reading Cinder with the read along! So much to be excited about! Or maybe that’s just all this coffee.

How was your week?

That can be hard when family is involved. I’ve had some issues with that, and it can be kind of mentally exhausting. I never thought of online gaming as a way to stay in touch, but that’s a great idea. And readalongs are fun!

    Enjoy your week.

Mentally exhausting is such a great way of saying it. I feel wired and my brain is like shut up and go to sleep now. Normally it’s the other way around.

We’re a gaming family. The hubby is always playing one game or another on one of our many devices! My daughter has her own now too. On Xbox you can actually play together if you have the same type of xbox and game which is also pretty cool!

I’m really excited about it! I’ve been looking at it for so long and honestly I’m a bit annoyed at myself that I never just picked it up but there are just soooo many great books out there! Way too little time!
