Shelf Control – Best Kind of Broken

September 16, 2015 Blog, Shelf Control 4

shelf-controlA weekly features celebrating unread books on our shelves! Pick a book you own but haven’t read, write a post about it (suggestions: include what it’s about, why you want to read it, and when you got it), and link up.

My Shelf Control picks will be books that I already own — either physical copies from my overflowing shelves, or one of the many unread titles elbowing each other out of the way on my Kindle.

So, although Bookshelf Fantasies is only counting actual books I’m also going to add in any books that I’ve received from authors and Netgalley that need to be read… so, here goes!

Best Kind of Broken by Chelsea Fine

Best kind of brokenThis is one of my older Netgalley books, published on March 4, 2014. Considering I have books that are not yet published on my TBR and books lining my shelves, this has been put on the back burner. I picked it up because I loved the cover and I just haven’t been able to get to it!

Pixie and Levi haven’t spoken in nearly a year when they find themselves working―and living―at the same inn in the middle of nowhere. Once upon a time, they were childhood friends. But that was before everything went to hell. And now things are… awkward.

All they want to do is avoid each other, and their past, for as long as possible. But now that they’re forced to share a bathroom, and therefore a shower, keeping their distance from one another becomes less difficult than keeping their hands off each other. Welcome to the hallway of awkward tension and sexual frustration, folks. Get comfy. It’s going to be a long summer.

This is not the oldest on my TBR for Netgalley but it is one of the ones I’ve wanted to read for over a year!

What’s on your TBR?

Right? I feel bad that I’ve just been sitting on it. Totally getting to it soon. Hopefully!
