My Thoughts Horror

Holy crap people! This is amazing! The funny thing? I was expecting this to be scary. I had it all set up (obviously) on my Horror Monday to review and then I started reading and it threw me for a whirl. Not the whirl I was thinking though…

Not horror!

So, okay, this is not scary at all! There are some moments when I felt like my heart was going to stop because they were so intense, but horror? Nope.

The title had Ghosts in it! Please forgive me for judging a book by its title. But, while you’re forgiving my ignorance I have to say this was still AMAZING!

I actually stopped reading a zombie book and started this one and I was captured on the first page. The characterization was marvelous. Immediately I could feel the main character’s emotions and understood her and her actions. The other characters, even minor, are just as good.

What’s funny is that technically this is a romance. Paranormal Romance though! YAY!

I loved it. I could not put it down. It didn’t really hit any of my horror spots so if you’re a horror lover do NOT go into this thinking you’re going to be scared. These ghosts, and Akira’s abilities are amazing.

What does this book have?

  • Awesome characters.
  • A great plot!
  • An interesting town.
  • A good ending that will leave you asking for more!

My kindle died at 75% and I wanted to throw it! How dare my kindle die in the middle of an epic event!!? That is just not right Kindle! You’re on probation. Because you’re plugged in but that’s not the point! The point is CHARGE your Kindle before starting this or you will also have to wait at pivotal points and that is excruciating!!

In short: I’m going to get book two because this was freaking awesome! Enjoy paranormal romance? Do yourself a favor and get this!
