Christmas cards make me so freaking happy! The problem is what in the world do you do with all of them? I used to let them sit on a table, which was great until we moved into a tiny house. I don’t really have a table to place them anymore! I do have some wall space though. This year I’m going to make a place just for cards!
What I think I’m going to do is a decoration that I can put up every year after Thanksgiving. Something that is a decoration so it won’t look out of place while I have only one or two cards on there!
I love this ribbon over the door idea. This means no attaching to your wall or to your door! It’s a simple little trick and the ribbon can match your decor!
The door idea is pretty cool but this idea I think is my favorite!
One gal says to use canvas but I’m a painter and using canvas would crush my poor little soul! Another said to use cork board so I think I’m going to do that!
All you need:
- 12×12 canvas (or varying sizes)
- Hot glue gun & glue
- Wrapping Paper
- Twine or ribbon (for hanging)
Wrap the cork board just like you would a present! (full instructions for Christmas Holder over at QVC)
What I love about this is the fact that it’s simple. You can change out the wrapping paper or even wrap with something that matches the seasons! You can easily leave these hanging all year long if you switch out the paper! Easy and fun!
How do you display your cards?
