Okay, I admit it…I didn’t do it.
This is normal, right? I mean, just because everyone I know has talked like they’ve already done it doesn’t mean that they’re telling the truth…right?
It’s not like I’m asking for that much. I don’t need the perfect guy. I don’t need candlelight or roses. Honestly, I don’t even need a real bed.
The guys I know complain that girls are always looking for Mr. Right—do I have to wear a sign that says I’m only looking for Mr. Right Now?
Sooooo…anyone out there want sex? Anyone? Hello? Just for fun?
I am not going to die a virgin. One way or another I am going to make this happen.
Hey, what have I got to lose? Besides the obvious.
This is so freaking hilarious that about halfway in, while trying to read in bed, I kept cracking up and wound up waking the hubby, TWICE! Although I was seriously tired I got up and read in the living room because I didn’t want to disturb him and I couldn’t STOP reading!
The premise behind this is quite normal. There are so many people out there that worry if they are still a virgin in their 20’s because everyone else has done it. What makes this particular story different is how well the author tells it and the characters are freaking wonderful, hilarious, but wonderful!
I picked this up because I was curious, I mean with that synopsis and that title, who isn’t!? I figured at worst I would waste a little time but never could I have imagined the hilarity behind this. The writing was wonderful and drew me in right away. The characters are totally relatable (in some situations I wish they weren’t!), and I found myself engaged and fully invested by chapter two!
Maybe every single person out there will not agree to the hilarity in this, but honestly, no one talks about this stuff. Everyone has to stumble upon it and normally by some disastrous accident unless you have girlfriends who are willing to let you in on some secrets. But even then you have to stumble upon things yourself and always, without fail you will have hiccups. THAT is what this is about but it is so much more! It’s about acceptance of yourself and those around you. It’s about being the person YOU are but it’s hard to do that with so much peer pressure and that is why the gals in this book get into drama.
Going into this think hilarity with lots of drama. I laughed so much I cried even as I was worried and hoping for the best. I felt like the character arcs were great although I did see them coming, not exactly how they worked out, but yeah… I pretty much pegged that part. The entire book though was hilarious.
In short: Hilarious, very easy read.
