One summer night, Sebastian Gentry, Lord Belgrave hauled the wrong young lady to Gretna Green. When her identity is exposed, the only obvious solution is to get an annulment. Only, just like his elopement plans, things didn’t go as planned and while she has reason to believe they are no longer married, he knows better. Wanting to make things right for her, he offers to help her find a husband—what neither counts on is it just might be the one she’s still secretly married to.

My Thoughts

In short: An absolute delightful, cannot be put down read!

This sadly, is just about 150 pages. In those pages there was quite a bit of drama mostly because two people just do not understand each other! As the two, Sebastian and Belle look to find Belle a suitor, because my goodness the gal is in her twenties and is soon to be a spinster, they find out more and more about each other, but that doesn’t mean they actual start to LIKE each other.

Full of spunk. The characters are outrageous and fun. I found myself totally in love with Sebastian and could not wait for him to take control of the situation. And Belle was just as much fun and stubborn to a fault! I just knew that through all the drama and Belle trying to find the right suitor, even though she secretly kept thinking dangerous thoughts of Sebastian, that the characters just fit each other. What’s funny is that although nearly everyone else sees it, they do not!

I would love to see more about the other characters in this!

I’m a huge fan now and cannot wait to pick up more of Rose Gordon’s books!

The Author

USA Today Bestselling Author and writer of eight unusually unusual historical romances that have been known to include scarred heroes, feisty heroines, marriage-producing scandals, far too much scheming, naughty literature and always a sweet happily-ever-after.

When not escaping to another world via reading or writing a book, she spends her time chasing two young boys around the house, being hunted by wild animals, or sitting on the swing in the backyard where she has to use her arms as shields to deflect projectiles AKA: balls, water balloons, sticks, pinecones, and anything else one of them picks up to hurl at his brother who just happens to be hiding behind her.
