13th – 19th – Is there a fictitious town in a book that you would love to live in? What makes it appealing? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

There’s a little town that the Cat Who books are based on. The town and its residents just seem to work together so well. Of course these are cozy mysteries, so there are also murders, but the town itself seems adorable.

It reminds me a lot of something like Stars Hollow. An adorable little place where everyone knows every body else and hopefully you mostly get along with everyone.

The only problem with these towns, other than the fact that I’m basically an introvert when I’m not on my computer, is that they are both up north. Still, if I could find an idyllic little town somewhere in the South, where it’s warm most of the year, I could deal with the leaves not changing colors, especially if it never snows.

I just love the idea of everyone having each other’s backs. We live in a town now where we have the chance to get to know our neighbors, and while I know their names, it seems rather appalling to know much more than that. So, I’d have to make some changes to my personality to enjoy actually living in this type of neighborhood. Of course, nobody in the books live in each other’s back pockets, they’re all just friendly. Which I definitely find appealing!

What fictional setting would you like to live in?

Most of the fictional places I read about tend to have zombies, vampires or some kind of monster! I like the idea of Hogsmeade from Harry Potter as it is scenic and has great shopping!

When my daughter and I visited Harry Potter World at Universal. I think we both wanted to just stand in awe at how fabulous it all ways. I was so impressed!
