A widow, Camille Young, wants nothing more but to have someone to call her own; with the right man of course. Just when she thinks she found him in Greg Langston – a smart, sexy, and brilliant attorney - who is very married and expecting his first child with his wife Michelle, their future gets put on hold. When things don’t go Camille's way as she hoped, the pain of her past resurfaces.
Camille has a plan that will affect everyone around her. When Greg's wife is targeted, Greg turns to Camille for answers. Was this part of her plan?...Suddenly Greg finds himself in a situation with a woman who will stop at nothing to make him her own, even if it means destroying his family and her own life.
Camille's entire world seems to unravel as she spirals out of control, not letting anything or anyone get in her way. Someone to Call My Own is a compelling story of lies, desperation and betrayal, and the consequences that follow when an encounter with the wrong woman has a man fighting to save the lives of the ones he love.

Thank you so much for doing this interview for Creating Serenity.
CT. – How did this book start for you? Image, Idea, Dream?
Bianca – An idea for this book and then came the image.
CT. – Did you have any growing pains with this novel?
Bianca – Not really just trying to put it all together and make a great book for readers to enjoy.
CT. – That is really lucky with your first novel! Do you have a message you try to convey when writing a story?
Bianca – Yes I always want to add a positive message whenever I write a book, so that people can get something out of it.
CT. – I love when I read something that has a positive message. Especially if the book doesn’t seem like it would have a message at all and then out of left field BAM! Gorgeous message! I think books stick with you more when they do that. Speaking of sticking with you, what are you reading right now?
Bianca – I am currently reading “The Sin Room” by K.B. Stevens
CT. – Whew! Look at that cover! Postive message or not, that looks like it’ll stick with someone! Are there any authors (living or dead) that you would name as influences?
Bianca – Maya Angelou
CT. – Ahhh… an amazing author! It’s like she makes you FEEL the FEELS! What do you do when you’re not writing?
Bianca – (Thinking of my next project) reading and my favorite spending time with my family.
CT. – That’s my favorite too. My family is full of derp puppies! Many pictures of them are on this blog actually. Have you always wanted to be an author?
Bianca – Not really, that talent (gift) was brought on by a lot of reading.
CT. – Smart girl! Reading is THE best way to learn about writing. How did you break into the industry?
Bianca – Releasing my first book with Createspace Publishing in 2014
CT. – More and more are doing that! I hope it has been a positive experience for you! There are so many negatives with the writing experience but I hope the positives out weight the negatives. What is your writing style? Do you create outlines for your writing or do you just sit and type away?
Bianca – I create an outline when I first start a book and when I type I just type away.
CT. – What is your next project? What have you been working on recently?
Bianca – My next project is my next book slated to release in October “Love and War.” I am really excited about this book. Every book I write will be different. My characters are diverse and I focus on people in general when writing.
CT. – Do you write using a computer or the old fashioned pen to paper?
Bianca – I actually type using my Smartphone, I usually write anywhere with my device.
CT. – that’s crazy! I don’t do anything with my smartphone but stalk people on Facebook. That and text and listen to music! Do you listen to music while writing? If so, what’s on your playlist!?
Bianca – No, I write/type in silence.
CT. – You must have a lot going on in your head then. Do you talk to your characters?
Bianca – All the time, it makes it so much real.
CT. – I love that!! I talk to characters in my head and I’m not even a writer. My hubby tells me to put in YET there… Now for the non-writing questions! What’s your favorite time of year?
Bianca – Winter/Christmas…I love the holidays.
CT. – They are fabulous! With the way this year is going and with your new book in October you’re going to see the holidays VERY soon!! Best vacation spot ever…
Bianca – Anywhere with my family is considered the best vacation spot ever.
Best answer to that question EVER! You are fabulous and I’m so glad you took the time to stop by. Thank you so much for indulging my curiosity!
Starting out writing short stories, Bianca decided to write her first novel two years ago. After writing on and off Bianca knew it was time to complete what she had started. In a six month time period not only was Someone To Call My Own completed, but her second novel was birthed as well. With great imagination, creativity, and faith, Bianca’s hobby became a profession in 2013.
Bianca Harrison was born in Griffin, Georgia but later relocated to Gainesville, Georgia. She has a Bachelor of Human Resource Management degree in Business Administration. She loves to travel, write, read, and most of all spend time with her family. Married with a teenage daughter and a toddler son, Bianca’s escapism is writing.
Bianca is gearing up for her second release Love and War, fall 2014, while currently working on her third novel and other future projects as well.
